What Vehvar keeps, why, and who can see it.

What we keep

• Your account: your mobile number (to sign in with an SMS code) and your name.
• Your wedding: its name, date and functions.
• The register: what your family enters for each gift: name, city, amount or gift, function, and who wrote it and when.
• Desk people: only the name they type when joining. No phone number or email.
• Payments: handled by Razorpay. We see only the payment reference and amount, never your card, UPI or bank details.

How it is used

Only to run Vehvar for your wedding: saving entries, totals, exports and payments. We do not sell anything, show ads, or contact your guests.

Error reports

If the app crashes, a technical report (the error, the page, the browser and phone type) goes to Sentry so we can fix it. It never includes your guests' names, amounts or your phone number.

Who can see it

• The admin, and family members who joined with the PIN.
• We look at a wedding only if you ask for help or something needs fixing.

Where it is stored

On Google Firebase in Mumbai, India. The app also keeps a copy on the desk phone so it works without internet.

How long

One year from the wedding date, then it may be deleted. You can ask us to delete your wedding sooner.
